Fire at NorthEast Pellet Ashland, Maine

    Only took them 2 years to rebuild last time . . .

    All their stored bulk pellets went up in flames (or are currently smoldering in silos), and they had contracted for several times more the amount they had stored, so someone is going to get some unanticipated business.

    That's sad news.
    Matt Bell has worked hard at building and improving the company.
    I hope he's able to rebuild.

    Over heated motor or bearing or a spark its lights out, sometimes hours after closing for the day/weekend. Happen to one of the pallet companies here several years ago blamed on a spark in a small pile of saw dust not cleaned up- over a weekend - some one walking dog ( Sunday morning) just happen to notice a bit of smoke and called it in.
