Yes, we have some in reserve from last year, thankfully it was a better winter. I think it should be enough, or hope so, I am not a fan of Rocky Mountain Pellets if we need to supplement this spring.

We did 2 batches of hot pepper jelly yesterday. Just garden relish and my grandmother's hot green tomato piccalilli left on the pickling list. The boss is likely to add a few things but the canning list is rather sparse these days. Cuts down on the sugar and salt that way.

    Hello burners!
Hope you are all well and happy.

I'm wondering which homeowners insurance companies you folks use. AARP/Hartford has doubled our premiums since we started using them.
Wife just called Progressive, but their groups won't insure pellet stoves.

Here's to a late start to the your heating seasons. :)

Stay far away from Progressive.....for ANY insurance. I've used and liked Liberty Mutual in the past...they have good discounts. State Farm has additional coverage options. Allstate is good for additional coverage options. Try this site to look for companies in your area:

    Thanks, imac!

I painted Helga this year. Shouldn't have skipped that as long as i did.
Just high temp black stove paint applied with sponge brushes after knocking off some surface rust w/ a wire wheel.

Impeller blades look great, (looking in through the exhaust channel) and i have been using my .75 hp blower to clear the ash from there each time i clean. Leaving the blower running at that time.

So, i rolled the dice and tightened down the motor the few microns it was slack, and am going for season three on this gasket.
    Cleaned the flue, of course.
