Bored, stressed or just likes to bite stuff?

 

We adopted a Australian Kelpie mix from Texas who was saved from what I call a kill shelter, she's 3 and her three pups were also adopted by people in Syracuse NY, one was adopted by my nephew.

 

Nice looking dog. I've never heard of one and had to look them up. Seems like they have good traits and are intelligent.

 

Yes from what I've seen so far, she understood no right off but we'll see on the sitting and shaking.

She's around 41 pounds which is nice, does all her stuff outside so it's been real good since we picked her up Tuesday.

 

Out of all the cats I have ever had playing in boxes, I have never seen one chew one up like that

 

My wife has been talking about getting a dog for the last three months, her son was in the family so we couldn't say no.

The place we adopted her from in Syracuse is a no kill place, they'll keep the animal until it's adopted.

 

She's a pretty girl, now she gets to live the good life

 

Kind of just gets in a zone...

 

She doesn't like the brook much but seems to get closer to it each day. The only time she barked is when four deer showed up in the backyard.

 

She'll realize she is not in Texas anymore when the snow is up to her keister.

 

It sure will be interesting to see how she handles it.

 

Yeah some animals love it some animals don't like it at all

 

Most of my cats have enjoyed shredding cardboard. Just another form of play usually.

What do you do when you are tired of sharing the couch with the dog? Make a 10 foot long couch.

Step one.

Buy 3 piece sectional couch

Step 2.

Throw middle angle section away

Step 3.

Shove the 2 remaining reclining 5 foot pieces together.

Step 4.

Kick dog until he's outta your way.



Edit to add: I'm not advocating kicking dogs. Totally a joke.

 

Grow some fresh stuff in the windowsill for her. Kitty crack lol
