I decided I'm going to keep the 372 I found last week but would like to put a 28" bar on it. I've done the Googly thing and seems there are quite a few choices on vendors. Anyone have a lead on a good deal? Before someone asks, I have personal reasons for not using the dealer close to me. Next closest is 35 miles away.

Left Coast Supplies, great customer service, just give them a call. Usually a good deal on GB bars.

28" is a big bar for a 372... you running skip? I have 20" and 25" but mine is ported.

I don't have a chain either but my Stihl 361 seems to handle the 25" fine so the 28" on the 372 shouldn't be a problem should it? I'm not looking to make record cut times, just naw through some bigger stuff on occasion.

Do you still have the Stihl bar & chain? I run Stihl bars on my 372 with an adapter.

If you like the 361/25" combo then 28" will work for you too.

Yeah, I'm keeping that one. I have 2 Stihl 362's I bought from a tree service that my son and I fixed up that I'm going to ditch. Only one had a bar and chain and that was a 20". I have a couple buddies who want to help cut but they don't have saws so I want to have a couple spares for them to use, especially if all three can come out on a weekend.

I'll have my Stihl 361, Husky 372, Stihl 192TC, Husky 55 and Stihl 028 Super. That should get me by.
