    Tomato juice/sauce....I do my tomatoes in the blender after I skin them. I used to run them through the tomato grinder and just have juice but I have been doing it this way for close to 10 years now. I think It's much better and l add 1 packet of salsa spice mix for this amount. We use it for chili and to cook stuffed peppers in.

    Those look great.

    We have a canning thread up in the smokehouse section feel free to add to it. I think we have a lot of canning folks on here.

    I canned some tomato jam that is excellent on burgers and dogs. We'll try it on meatloaf in a few weeks.

    I just made a Stromboli for my wife, and used a small amount of spaghetti sauce along with 2 cheeses and 2 meats we had on hand. Pepper Jack and Colby jack + smaller salami slices woven I with capocollo....
    Mmmmmmm.....
