Darn do you mean I have to start using sarcasm tags? I would have figured the little whistle and popcorn emotional icons would have said it all.
;lol I think we were all leaning to the side of working the kids and making them learn some responsibility is a good thing! I know my oldest daughter is now 22 and she works hard and I could not be more proud of her.
Not a one of my kids were afraid of work. The girls even helped me work the manure into the garden. The boys were very motivated but sometimes it wasn't in the directions I would have preferred. All thing considered, they did very well. All of them settled down within a few miles of here. They all helped work the wood pile. Cut the grass, had jobs and played sports. Were encounter a few thorns, but learned how to better handle the stems. Nice to see the grand children growing up much the same way.
I had chores, My wife had chores. So my son has them too. We very mean parents! And if his grades slip pops blows a gasket! Privileges get revoked!
I honestly thought Smokey was implying that I am making the kid work to hard. Sometimes it's hard to put a read on him I know he likes to rib people (we all do), but 2 posts in a row, with very little "Seen Sarcasm" I couldn't tell. And yes, these smileys are here for a reason I like them...
You still have gaskets left? I am certain that mine were blown many years ago after all I had employees and reported to the head PITA.
Go up 1 notch on the LBA to 1-6-1. Mike H. has told me you can even go to 7, but after that you're blowing the heat through the stove too fast and lose efficiency.
I did this just before I left the camp last night after I had cleaned the stove. I will see if this makes a difference. These Grinch pellets burn dirty!
Heading out to get another 30 bags of Barefoots tomorrow, that should finish off the heating season. I still have about 2 cords of wood left so that's a plus......
2 tons down by early next week, would of been 3 tons by now, but had some things going on when I was not able to burn a lot in December.
Just threw in #184 this morning. I used a total of 182 bags for ALL of last year, and that included a few very cool days at the end of April.
