I wonder how many people will damage their vision today. It has to be more than 0.

Clouds have moved in here. It's got an hour to clear out if people want to see the whole thing and 2 hours to clear out if people just want to see the heaviest blockage. It will only be about 60% blocked anyway so not that big a deal.

I haven't talked to anyone around here that is excited about this. But it is going to start soon. Birds seem to know it.

I should be about 60 miles south of the total eclipse. I have my welding helmet out and can see that it has already covered about a fourth of the sun. I think it will be a 98% eclipse from where I am located.
I can see that it is starting to get a little bit darker.

Those pics that WildWest are showing are crazy traffic. I heard there was suppose to be about 250,000 people coming up to Wyoming to watch the Eclipse. The total population for the state is 500,000.

Although we'll only have a partial, around 58%, its due to start in about ten minutes (1:26) peak at around 445ish.

My cereal box projector is showing a nice sized chunk taken out of the sun. The turkeys are getting a little weirded out.

Tried to take a picture through the welding helmet. The bright spot is glare from the camera.
