My daughters father in law mentioned he has a log splitter, so Saturday evening I give him a call to see if I can borrow it. Sure he said but we'll have to "dig it out". So Sunday I head over to see what he has in the shed, and this is what I find, hasn't ran in 5 years so I'll see if it's frozen and go from there. 20170820_094935.jpg 20170820_094928.jpg 20170820_094921.jpg 20170820_094911.jpg

Start and finished wood.:) I think it's going to rain most of the week, not enough time to get it stacked.:(

    Looks like a good splitter!
Not much has changed in the Speeco/Huskee/CountyLine over the years. Tried and true.

check the hydraulic fluid while your there. See if it's milky or clear.

10-4, I plan on draining the hydraulic fluid and changing the filter.

Works better as a splitter than a dust collector :D:axe:

After the work you put into it after a 5 yr hiatus, I'd say it's semi-permanent at the least.
    Nice work!

Very good and it is all in the family. You might get spoiled using those hydraulics.

I have the same splitter and have been unable to find the model number anywhere. Id like to know the fluid capacity’s and filter number. I’ve only used it once but it works great. Thanks
