He will only be there for part of the day today, it's a business meeting.
He has a big softball game tomorrow,
against the team they are tied with for first place..

You be very careful with that pear tree. Not worth getting ill or worse over. I was with a very stubborn uncle who wanted to dig up a stump on a 6 in tree. He had a heart attack right in front on me. He was never the same after that.
update. you got it back up. Still ok. that is good. be careful. Please.

Don't worry about me there were 4 of us that straightened up that tree.

ETA: I was fetch and carry for the most part.

For that, I am worthless. Hell of a thing to say, but it is the way it is. I picked veggies from the garden today. Took me a good part of the afternoon, but I did it and that is all that counts. (in my mind anyway.)
Resting now, doing this and listening to piano music, and having a freshly made ice coffee. Wife is snapping beans, lazy pets are laying all over the place. Content.

Did the Warrior Dash at Thompson Speedway with the wife and another couple.

Best part was the "free" beer afterwards :pete:

I only have 2 in the evening one of which is at bed-time and don't really want to have a smoothie at 8:00 AM and start off the day by going hypo. Larry knows which pill I am talking about.

Just talk to those living south of the Mason Dixon Line. Their winter is more tolerable, but you and I wouldn't do well in the depth of the summer. When we are cold, we put more on. But when they are hot, well, there is only so much they can take off to cool off. I wouldn't even be able to breath in that heat and humidity. I just finished off a sun room to enjoy during the winter. I used it last winter unfinished. Loved it. I have a lot of green plants growing in he windows. The cats are in there with me most of the time.
