I have dropped TV and Phone service. I get all the TV dreck I need from the 21 sub-channels I can get on my antenna and my Phone is on Verzion's network for $17 and pennies/month unlimited. My Internet is 60Mbs nominal. It runs closer to 70Mbs except in the evening when it starts going to hell.

I have about 30ish. Never a problem. I have at least two tvs, two tablets, two phones and security camaras running simultaneous.

When your Head End is overloaded the pipe can go to hell fast. Count your lucky stars.

Problem not on this end have had 5 HD streams open at one time inside the house the network is much faster than the outside pipe.

Honestly, I have no idea. I only hear stories that the tech's tell us and most of the time it's customer related issues and not things that on our end. It's the line I use with everyone here "user error".

Today we're running into an issue that the older laptops aren't capable of getting near gig speeds on their laptops. They all have gig nic cards but they are just dual core i3's and such.

My wired stuff can reach a gig but a lot of older equipment tops out well before a gig on default settings.

    I'm an idiot.
I know when the little light is on, my computer is too.

Here is the connection status screen from the software(linux) running in my router: The link from the router to the modem is the wan labeled port and is at 1gig the two wireless links are limited too 300 million bits per second and 600 million bits per second however the actual speed will be less given my old portable is a 32bit machine and is on the 5.0 GHz band and tops out at 54 Mbs far slower than the adapter on the I-7770 system. OPPS can't attach the screen shot Firefox is crashing.

Just got my lock in price for the upcoming heating season. Propane for me is going up. 25 cents a gallon to $1.50

I only used 1.5 tons last year with the lower propane price and a milder winter.

Guess I better start looking for some decent deals.

    Now thats a deal !!

Best we have with Metrocsat (also just bought by Spectrum) is 150 mb downloads. For the life of me, I cant find pricing a la cart on the website (not do I feel like looking for a needle in a haystack)but it is likely not as cheap as 65 bucks.

For me that propane price would be a super bargain - at 1/2+ off what I pay.

Bear no longer doing canned sardines, he did not enjoy the last two days now you have to understand Bear loves sardines and has a well stocked larder of such foodstuff and that Bear locks up when BP goes hypertensive (Bear is one of the few that can actually feel it). I have at least 144 cans of them.
