Bit of a random post put cctv up a few week back they just happen to look over my wood , pure coincidence . I just wandered what your gardens over there look like compared to my tiny bit of land in the uk .
I would say you have a nice little green spot in the back there where you can go and relax and watch the water and enjoy your favorite beverage. This is my back yard.
My back yard is nothing compared to yours. Mine is a simple expanse of grass and weeds with a few trees along the edges. The trees shade the grass enough that it really does not grow well. Right now it is overly tall because it has been too hot for me to go out and mow during daylight hours. As with most of us here, I do have a pile of wood along the back fence.
A couple of pics of yesterdays harvest, just one day. We are getting really getting veggies coming hot and heavy now. Corn is almost ready, Tomatoes very soon.
Nice one our old fella used to grow all our own, afraid caterpillars beat me to my crops so I gave up
No real vegetable gardens.. just perennial beds to lessen the grass mowing. Some rhubarb, bee balm, and butterfly bush Coneflower, ballon flowers, rose of sharon Hosta garden, and stargazer lillies. Stuff to look at when not admiring my wood.
Sweet corn and sunflowers. There is plenty more the other side of the sunflowers; peas, beans, potatoes, raspberries.
It is used that way in what is called field corn but there are varieties made for fresh eating too. Those are called sweet corn. A third type, not nearly as common, is popcorn.
