Yeah, first the eyesight, then the hearing.....or is it the hearing and then the eyesight? Well they all go away at some point-even the memory!
Just got my first prescription glasses this weekend , just for reading so far . Her indoors says iv been deaf for years , I call it selective hearing
Well never seen any iron wood before but it sure sounds like one of the really good fire woods to have. I am not ready for the cold weather yet I have too many projects to get done. Hurt my dog gone foot the other day riding horse back with the neighbor and I am going to the mountains next week for some more beetle kill.
I live South East of Cheyenne. Carpenter. I will be going to the mountains that are south west of Laramie. Medicine Bow National Forest.
Cool fruits look like hops that beers made from and the beam in the name is from when they used to join ox together
Here is what the county forester called the biggest Ironwood he has seen in the county. Cut it for a TSI (timber stand improvement) project) These aren't huge trees, but big for Ironwood.
The trees were marked by the forester for removal. The stand in question was a pasture that was left fallow probably 30 years ago. The invasive trees took over, i.e. box elder, ironwood, and poplar. The goal is to reintroduce hardwoods. Cut some pretty big box elder. This one had a very severe lean.
