Well... if they offer a 5% discount for the 'volume' purchase,
    it would be around $1,115..
So if you find someone that goes that route, tell them we have pellets for $1,ooo a ton...

I could care less. I was swillin away myself when I typed that. However, Mrs. JT, AKA Mrs. Skillet, might have a different outlook on JT trying to imitate Will.

JT I never could down many drinks at one time, I'd just go to sleep. I'm a cheap drunk.

I had my chimney lined today in preparation of installing a new furnace. As a result, I have lost my status as a cellar dweller. The thimble for the stove was lower than the thimble for the chimney and had to be bricked up in order to meet code.

Don't know. I haven't talked to anyone yet. Nothing fancy. Just a basic hot water boiler.

The high tech ones say they get great efficiency, but at what cost-both up front and later if they dont work right.

Well the one I have is direct vented no chimney, just wondering since you lined your chimney.

I won't be going high tech or heat pumps. Just a simple oil fired boiler.

One of my sons has one. I'm not sure he'd do it again. He misses not having a chimney. He'd have a woodstove if he did.
