JK, no beer. I'm giving the old back a few minutes rest right now. Real nice breeze outside today Before
So you stack about 70 pieces to earn a beer....at that rate, come on over to my place. I have a 12 pack with your name on it, and about 850 pieces that need stacking!
Glad I read on because my first thought was, if That's all you stack then beer you might as well just throw it in a heap and keep drinking...........course I haven't had a beer in over a dozen years. Carry on brother
Looking good, brother! Boy that neatly stacked wood nestled in the shed sure gets me itching for fall and the burning season....... This will have to do for now, though....
Yippee, it quit raining Done, :stacke: except for a little pile that I have to cut the Nubs off and make them more stackable. Time for food end then
Nothing fancy about the little shed, but it keeps wood dry Wow,, cool right down here now it's 60 degrees outside
HDRock how much rain did you get? We got .2" in the night and morning but then only a few sprinkles or mist the rest of the day. It surely was sweet having that cool of a day now.
I've been CSSing as well; Just finished up yesterday. I think I'll level it off and call it good... Of course I'll cover it this fall. About 2 cords of mixed alder, fir, etc. (far left) and about 4+ cords black locust :stacke:
Truth be told...this has been going on for about 3 weeks on our days off and my wife has done a lot of the stacking, despite the fact the stack is taller than her (5'0"). The weather has been the biggest hindrance...it's been super hot out here, near record temps in the mid 100's this week. We did most of the work in the mornings, evenings, and with short intervals between the wood pile and air conditioned home.
