Welcome to the forum Chity. If nothing else, you'll have a lot of laughs here. We talk about beer ALOT, and occasionally pellets. :D

HEY ! WHO YOU CALLIN SICK? Oh yeah, just looked in the mirror :p

Welcome to the jungle, we got fun and games. Great place with even greater people who like to help out and LOVE to have fun.

As you may have already noticed, it does not take much to steer a thread into a beer topic :D

Welcome to the forum! The PS35 is a great stove. If you are having issues with the new digi thermostat I might suggest digging into the directions. On a lot of those you should be able to adjust the heat anticipator to keep your issue from happening. Those Quad/Heatilators don't like having short on/off cycles so I feel your pain. Might not hurt to go back to a good ol' plain wall thermostat, it doesn't have to be a Quad as theirs are actually made by LUX.

Good luck and if you have any questions ask away, I'm pretty good with diagnosing these stoves as are a lot of other members here so hopefully we can help keep some money in your pocket if you have any issues :D

Directions for the T-stat tell you to clip one of the jumpers on the back to gain more of a differential. Instead of shutting down for 15 seconds, it shuts down for 45 seconds. The original cheap T-stat was way better than this. Stove would actually shut down completely and not turn back on for 30-45 minutes on a cold day.
