We've had three mornings of heavy fog but it was in July....does that mean winter will be a month earlier? :smoke:

I'll probably be in the BVI's for a week or so on a boat in winter. So the rest of the time it will be in the upper 70's it will be in my living room by the stove.

    She deserves a new shovel!!

I predict temperatures and precipitation to fall within 3 standard deviations of the mean. I feel 99.7% sure that I'll be right too.

You can keep all your WHACKs right down there, also, you can have all the WHACKS intended for this area. I have to tell you though, in Maine, it will be cold and snow covered. Just the way life is here. My son is planning on buying a plow for his truck. I used to have one, but I was way too popular when I did.

We just came back from Cranberry Lake from a boat ride, some of the Maples and Cherry tree leaves are changing color already so I'll say that we get the cold coming in early.

We also had a foggy morning, does that mean we'll get one snowfall.

Anyone have a Farmers Almanac? I haven't had one in years. Praying for another mild winter here. Nina or Nino or whatever it takes so we don't have -37* and house heat sucking 90 mph sustained winds.

I talked with Steph a few days back, she said it will be nasty out in your area.

I have Trumpet vines in my yard for the humming birds and they have already been seeding o_O for the last two weeks! I don't ever remember them starting this early, usually around last week in August. Somethings "fishy"...
