Hmmm I wonder how hard this is to hot wire? It's technically on my land. IMG_20170731_195131962_HDR.jpg

Here's a few piles of black walnut from my land. I wish they would've saved the plum. That was the best btu weird of the stuff they are cutting. The mulberry was pretty small. Maybe only about 4 logs worth keeping, and I keep stuff down to 2-3". That got all ground up by the attachment on the skid steer.:(

Here's what I cut up last night. Serious odd cut lengths. Some super long, some 6-10". I did the best I could. IMG_20170731_194842281.jpg

    More, all this they cut.

Eh it's all btu's. The upper part, where the skid steer is, it's where my wood shed will go. I couldn't start that project until they did this.

(see Weight Stability below) "but gaining some weight by building up muscle mass could be even better." :rofl:

Anyone who sees me in a tank top knows I have plenty of muscle - I get asked all the time if I lift weights (haven't in years, it's all due to my night job and home/yard maintenance).

Heading out for coffee this morning....my ex-partner (75) decided to go back to work! Of course, it'll only be part time, but WTH? Gonna have to buy for him to day as it is his first day back!!!

    Everyone have a good day.

BMI charts are a bunch of crap. I'm about 6'3 and 190 and my body fat is well under 10%. According to the charts...10 more lbs and I'd be considered overweight.

    Ugh. Boss calls this AM.

Boss: Hey, can you go to Chicago.
    Me: Probably. When?
Boss: Right now, for the rest of the week.
Me: Ummmmmmm...let me check with the wife.
    Wife: Ugh.
Me: I guess I can go.

Off to Chiraq. Best gets me Kevlar on.

Another gorgeous morning in paradise here. Going to get some yard work done this morning. This afternoon we will probably watch the Blue Jays blow another winning lead. Pretty hard to watch that last night. Getting too used to lazy morning getups and doing whatever with no time schedule. 2 1/2 weeks left of my vacation.

Yep. I've got a buddy that is 6'3" and 190 and I think he's skinny. Granted at 6'4" 255 I could lose a couple pounds, but because muscle weighs more than fat, when if I were ripped, i'd still be 245, at least.

exactly.. it's a chart because doctors are too lazy to do a caliper test... overweight is for men 20% fat...
I went ballistic years ago when I brought 2 year old nephew to pediatrician she said he was borderline obese... I politely told her no that's inaccurate.. she showed me chart and was insisting... and was going to report it to dept of children..

my last comment was do it and I will sue you! I am not a sue kind of guy but if you are an expert in children.. you should know obesity is a measure of % of body fat.. this child had 4 pack of abs at 2! ab muscles are not detectable if body fat is over 12%.. do not label a child because he is short..

Needless to say we got another pediatrician

The way I look at it is why settle for a six-pak when you can have the whole keg?

I've been there all week so far. Guess for the rest of it too. I made a bad new job decision. I've learned in 2 days money isn't everything.

Hopefully in a couple of weeks you will be able to look back and realize it just happened to be a bad start and it has only gotten better since then.

Slightly smoky sunrise this morning. The wildfires burning in the interior of the province are sharing the smoke with the rest of us as there are outflow conditions happening. This means that we get warmer temps than normal as well.

Moved my rhubarb plant and made a five out of it. I either killed it or it will do good next year. Moved a rose bush that was hiding behind the r-pod to a sunnier, more open place. I hope it does better now.

Lots of salal berries on our own garden plot. I should be out there this morning picking. It has been quite the year for massive flowering and berries. Huckleberries are doing good as well. And yet I guess we got rain and wind at the wrong time for Mom's plum tree. After producing lots last year, there doesn't look like she will get any this year. Of course the tree is nearly 60 years old but has always produced well.
