How about those Blue Jays!!! They may be last in their division but they still are exciting at times to watch. I almost left off watching the game and now I am glad I didn't.

Chunky monkey and his brother brought buckets of love to Grammy & Grampa yesterday and today. My daughter and I got a chance to do something we never get to do... talk about everything and nothing... priceless...

We spent today again on the lake. So both days on the lake. Ahh. Beautiful weekend weather.

I got a bit more tan today. Sunscreen was in full effect all weekend so I'm mostly just tan. We left the dogs at home today though. They spent all day yesterday on the water, swimming, retrieving, all that good stuff. Then we went to our friends house and were enjoying the camp fire, pulled pork sammiches and ice cream cake for their son's b day.

So the dogs were tired and just slept all day. They're happy we're home now.
I picked up an 8 pc of Chester's fried chicken on the way home, and my wife it's making onion rings.

If I can get up later, before dark, I'll run the dolkita on some decent 1 split size black walnut branches. It's all fire wood and it all adds up.

I've been wondering about you....still observing a diet and where are you at now?? (Mine was doomed as soon as I left for Colorado! Haven't recovered from that lapse yet!)

Spose you've got a moat dug around that property by now, no? Good to hear from you.

No, and I'm not sure what I weigh. I'll get back on the treadmill starting in August once a day for the first two weeks.

I actually feel better heavier, I stopped working in the woods because I wasn't feeling 100 percent but once I put more weight on I felt better.

I didn't stick with my staying around 216 so I'll lose around 8-10 pounds which will be easy for me.

If you feel better a little heavier, then stay at the weight you feel better at. The BMI scale that doctors go by is not always right, IMHO.

So I found out that my boating buddy had his brand new Highlander hit by another car ( hit and run) while parked at the lot while we were all together out on the lake all day.

Of course, no note was left, and since it was on the passenger side, the first to see it would have been his wife when she got in the car pulling the boat out of the water.

He literally had the car 2 weeks. Brand new 2017 Highlander.

    Ugg.

Sounds like well over $1000 in damage per the cop. So it could be worse. I don't know if it was a sideswipe, or trailer hitting his passenger side, or just a really bad door ding, but it's no good, especially on such a new vehicle.

Woke up to gorgeous sunshine. I think we are in for record high temps and a very sunny week. Our record high temps may get to 24 C/76 F until the westerly wind kicks in. Seeing as we are nearly into August, we might start seeing fog in the mornings as well.

At the peak of our health in our 20's and 30's, we did not fit the BMI scales, neither of us. Lil is not fitting the scales either and she extremely healthy.

Don't we all? Summer is a great time for ice cream, lots of fruit and outdoor BBQ. Everything is so much fresher and tastier.

That and the hotter weather that tends to make you a bit more sedentary....well, me anyway!

Hmmm. I was extremely out of my element today. Hoping it get's more comfortable.
