    I did not even know what I was looking at. I never stack wood with cribbed ends so it all looks out of whack to me.

    Ah, time; the enemy... Actually I was thinking about that as I was stacking this morning. I'd bet stacking a cord of wood it does not cost more than 4-5 minutes or less cribbing the ends. I'll gladly take the time but shoot, this is the only way I've ever stacked wood when stacking for myself. Well, there was that time we had a basement and stacked wood for the furnace down there. Just stacked wall to wall, but I hated throwing the wood down through that little basement window. Should have had a setup like bogydave has. That is sweet!

    Oh! We did that at home when we burned wood back in the 80's...
    that was a pain!
