Nice! I like a 20" for limbing. Seriously though it should OWN that bar. The smallest I normally use is 36".
Does a ms880 have more cubes than a 166 dolmar? Running those 100cc plus saws for limbing duty is pure torture. The guys who packed a mac 125, dolmar 166, or a stihl 084 for a shift of cutting big timber on even moderately steep ground were tough. Using an 880 to mill lumber is probably fun and rewarding. And much less likely to cause a back surgery.
Nice saw, bar, and chain. That square ground should make short work for you. Just do not get close to any dirt with it.
166 is 118cc and 880 is 121cc After running my 84 for an hour I am whooped. Normally run it to quarter large chunks or anything needing a 36" bar.
I use a 310 or 461 for limbing duty. Once in a great while I will whack some limbs, but it's too heavy and ackward for limbs.
