HL supply is having a contest. You had to make a video of something that you purchased from them and mention their name in the video and the description. The contest ends end July 26th. I would apprectiate if you guys would watch my video and like it (press the play button, then the youtube logo in the bottom right, then hit the thumbs up on youtube). Thanks!!

Yes, that's the kit saw. We both ordered one from HLS as part of a large group order so it was actually less than that. Although Bullits saw was more than mine due to getting a Cross P/C...we've been PMing about it for a while now...Bullit was a lot of help to me because I have never messed with a 660 before.
No vids of mine, but how 'bout a pic...Brand new ms 660

I haven't bought kit yet... but @94bullet told me the cross cylinder was a casting of a Mastermind ported cylinder. ... for an extra 50 ish.. so I may be wrong BUT if you muffler mod the saw and put on OEM chain tensioner etc etc.. for about 450 dollars you end up with an almost ported 660 work saw.. seems like a great deal...

busy time of year for me but have a PM with 94BULLITT .. great guy... I need a 70cc plus saw 3 times a year... a 660 here is 1200 plus then a master mind port is 300 ish (that's a guess) hard to justify that $ on saw gets used 30 times in a decade,, but 450 with a good bar and few chains ... meaning ready to use more realistic in my world

Thank you yes, it is a complete parts kit.

Thanks for your support. I wish I could post a direct link to Youtube but the youtube link turns into a video player on here.

Actually I just got an idea on the line. Click on here.

The clone saw needs a muffler mod real bad. I need to try to find something better than ash to test in.

You think it will make a huge difference, huh? I thought the muffler seemed pretty open already...maybe I need to study it a bit more...

    '

You may have an account and not realize it. If you have a gmail account, you have a youtube account.

I'm not sure about the chain tensioner on mine. It seems like it is working fine. I need to get some run time on it to see but I'm not cutting anymore til my conveyor is ready to use. The only thing I think I am going to have to upgrade is the chain brake handle. It is too flimsy and hits the muffler before it works. If I hold it right it will work but if I get in a situation were I need it to work it is not going too. I'll do a video on the chain brake sometime. I'm also a little questionable on the carb.

Since I have the ported cylinder I think it needs a more open muffler real bad. I think the muffler is acting like a restictor plate.
