The sky just opened up and dumped a bunch of rain on us. Didn't really need any more rain after last week but it did drop the temp about 15*.

Planted beans yesterday since it was suppose to rain. No rain send some my way. Canada doesn't need any rain next week. I will be fishing in Ontario.
By the way, I have been to BC. Beautiful area.

Our province is desperate for rain as we have wildfires burning all up the interior of the province. By Sunday, it will be dry again.

The interior was where we were. We flew to Anchorage and loaded my sister's vehicle on the Alaskan Ferry at Whittier. Took the ferry to Prince Rupert and then drove over to Prince George and took the Alaskan highway back to Anchorage. Couldn't wait to see what was around the next bend.

Is there a ye ole diverter flap that goes into the downspout...I would think if not the water would mainly rush right past that connection

Woodwidow, I herd on the radio a couple of days ago that we were sending some of our Aussie fire fighters over to help.

American still flying the venerable MD-80 eh? I've been hanging out in DC watching Delta's MD-90s and 717s come and go.

It's a different design that flows back to ye ole water downspout when the barrel fills no diverter needed. Probably the simplest design I've seen so I couldn't pass it up. $10 insert into spout then figure out how you'll from it to the barrel. In my case that was whatever I had lying around...

It is overcast this morning with cooler air settling in for a few days. I couldn't pass up this picture. Those rounds are standing dead elm that the fiskars bounced off of.

I am making another small stack for the oak that was delivered recently. Time to tidy up the yard. I'll start the small fall garden too.
