    Oh yeah, we bought 5 daylillies on mega sale to put in the planter that we'll make for the front ash tree by the road. It'll be a circular block ring around the base of the tree.

    We found a couple purple ones and some pink lillies.

    Yea, but its summer time a little warmth for a couple of weeks is usually called for... We have a excessive heat warning starting tomorrow through Saturday Night.... Will be calling for a whole lotta of A/C this week...

    Never had any trouble with deer for any daylilies - even when I lived in the woods next to Audubon society. Course I've heard people tell their resident deer love hostas - haven't had that issue either. Maybe I'm just too ornery for the local deer to mess with ;)

    Overcast this morning so campinspecter is out washing vehicles before the sun comes out. I think we are in for a couple of hot (for us) days. Yesterday I got some weeding done after the disappointing Blue Jays loss. Going to a picnic tonight so we are making potato salad and coleslaw to take with us.

    Put the tiller onto the tractor this morning. Worked up some food plots. Stopped for dinner then fellow who owns 70 acres beside us stopped and wanted me to do some tilling for him. Got it done but was really surprised how much wetter it was on his place than on ours.

    I still have a small area to till but have to mow it first. Not sure if that will get done today or not.
