Wweeeelll I've got a 2036 jonsy on the bench in pieces for a guy at work right now (hopefully finish that tommorrow) which forced me to clean up my work area some. I need to get my Farmall WD6 back together next then it will be time for the 55 :picard:too many projects and 60+ work weeks are killing the hours for progress:headbang:.

I just put a 16" 325 .050 on mine back in winter and took off the factory 20" 3/8 .050, makes it's a little more fun :D you will like it!

Ive only made 3 cuts and....

The stihl is getting a tune up and is getting listed on craigslist.
I'll be shopping for a 60ish cc saw eventually.
Maybe a dolmar 6100 or something.

X2! The 6421 is a outstanding saw. Totally worth picking up a used homer depot rental saw used. I like that 6421 chassis better than the 6100. Plus there is always the option of putting the 79cc slug n jug on it.

I really wanted to, but I didn't end up liking my 6100. I couldn't keep it from throwing chains unless I kept the tension overly tight and bar nuts very tight. From talking to various dealers it sounds like it's a known issue. Some guys have had success with fixing the problem by using a 5105 clutch cover. Ultimately it ended up being to much of a tweener saw for me and wasn't worth fiddling with. I ended up either using my 50cc saw or the 7910 which is a pleasure to run!
