Has anyone heard anything about the Husqvarna 572xp coming out anytime soon? Last year at one of my local dealers, they were talking about it coming out in a year or so. I'm partial to my 372's and as of late I've been running my 562 pretty often. I'm curious as to how the 572 will perform and if it's really happening.

It'll be out in europe shortly ,then here a year after that . Got a look at the owners manual posted on another site . It's got an air purge bulb ,and inboard clutch . That's about as much as I've been able to find out .

I'm hoping for good things out of the 572, has some pretty big shoes to fill. I'm hoping for good things out of the 462 as well.

So is the 462 filling in for two saws or just one? (No 442?)

I haven't heard anything about the 442, IMHO, they need to go backwards for the 442 to be a good saw. I asked my buddy that is a dealer about the 462. As far as I'm concerned when the 441 replaced the 440, the 372 became my pick in that category. Yet, I prefer the 461 over the 460.
