They taste kind of like a bland carrot. I love root vegetables. Plus they are so good for you.

IMHO, that's one of the best parts of a pasty.

To me, a pasty without rutabaga is like a pizza with no cheese.

Try the rutabaga. Seriously. It's a key ingredient.

I'd try that. Once at least. Although I don't like pachtkis, ( sorry no polish in me so I can't spell that and Google doesn't know WTH I'm trying to type) so, I don't do savory "donuts".

Rutabaga is technically a cross between cabbage and turnips.

    Mmm root vegetables.

Try one then. Also try a rutabaga. The taste will turnip once you have one again.

Tried them and just don't enjoy them. My ex-partner likes them a lot; me, I'll avoid them!

All the ones I've had just remind me of an over-stuffed bismarck.

Hauled a load of maple and ash today.

That makes two truck loads for the OWB pile so far this summer.

I'm mystified... all my 4 baby chicks have disappeared... One disappeared without a trace in the old coop... and now the last 3 disappeared between yesterday and today... Only a few feathers a bit away from the coop... I cant fathom how the heck only the three babies disappeared without any of the others leaving or being defeathered... and my SD card on my camera was full... :headbang:.... Theres only a couple of ways... and really none of them makes any sense...
