When we had bunnies we used pine pellets. They nibbled at first likely cus they look sorta like their food. They were fine with the pellets. Much better for them than clay kitty liter. We had a female that would get urinary infections from the clay. Our vet was the one that suggested pellets or pine chips instead of the clay. He did say to try an avoid hardwood pellets or chips. They too can cause reactions.

We used the pine pellets for the bunnies, But if we couldn't find any, We'd use the pine chips in a pinch. Both seemed to work fine. Chips were on sale a bit more often and we also use them with the chickens.

Thanks Jay! So am I doing this right? I put litter tray with pine pellets in the corner where they (or one of them went potty) and sprinkled in some urine soaked pine shavings. We litter trained bunnies in 1990, but I cannot remember how we did it....:picard:

We used puppy pee mats(with some of their urine sprinkled on it), But other than the mat it was pretty much like what your doing. If they go in another spot, Move the box there might also help. They usually go in the same place all the time.

Post some pic's of the lil cuties. ;)

Jay spends mucho :makeitrain"on his fishing gear. This Mainer caught this on his 3 yr. old sons $7 Buzz Lightyear pole from Walmart.

Thanks Jay! Interesting, our llamas always went in the same spot for 13 years (both #1 and #2), did not know bunnies did too and thats awesome. They are in an aquarium for now since I found out they have fleas :hair:. OMG, local vet sold us "Revolution" that is safe for both bunnies and the wildcat we took in, $70!!!!!!!! YES :makeitrain"

    Nice bass!!

Likely on live bait(worm/night crawler), Which would disqualify the catch in a tourney! :p

So your saying that the good ole live worm and a Buzz Lightyear pole beats the big money stuff and fake bait? Sounds like Cabellas marketing dept is doing their job

My honeys kids use to do pretty good with an old cheap purple Scooby Doo pole. I think its still around here somewhere-her 13 year old daughter caught a sunfish a mile up the road with it and worms dug up in the yard last year.

Watch out J and Joey-they are coming for ya :p
