    Blackberries are just starting to bloom here. Mom has huckleberries ripe in her yard. My salal crop looks like it may be quite generous.

    THREE more days and summer begins for me. Of course the most gorgeous weather is happening now. I hope it stays around for a while although the sudden increase in dry weather is causing forest fire problems in the province.

    Our black berries bloomed over a month ago and they now have lots of green berries. It will be at least a month before they are ready to be picked.

    IMG_4393.JPG Had a mostly nice 4th. Early afternoon got out on a local river with the family unit with the kids and the fly rods....enjoyed the heck out of newly teens actually taking an interest in the mechanics required to avoid the birds nest while still enjoying a young muskrat in the gin clear water and a damsel fly taking an interest in me.
    Weather is still pleasant so when we got back to the house Mrs. M2theB and I knocked some splitting. Always an exercise in synchrony.

    Pfft noooo.... I mainly work on milk chilling units for dairy farms across the state along with a lot of other equitment on the farms. No AC units as of now. So there!!:p
