Well guys after a long absence I'm glad to be back. On April 5th I was diagnosed with APL Leukemia! Wow!.. Long story short...I'm in 100% remission and the Doctors are shaking their heads as to my recovery rate. Praise God is all I can say. Though the Chemotherapy was pretty intense I am doing fine. Just finished my 1st phase of out patient care with 2 more to go. So glad I listened to some of the old timers on this site. Sitting on roughly 55 face cords of wood half of which is all seasoned and ready to burn. Glad to be back in the game....
Good news!!! Glad to hear!!! And just tell the doctors the fast healing is due to all the saw chips you've ingested over the years
Glad to hear you are in remission. I got a rude awakening this spring. I had major abdominal surgery in Jan. I had last seasons wood ready to go, but had stove problems and was running through like mad before it was fixed. We got through the season but was burning some Jan split Ash. Now have all of next season's wood split and stacked. Several rows of Honey Locus and Oak for a start of a three year plan. I get a lot of ash and have about half of 2018/2019 CSS.
It really was a relief when I was in the hospital 35 days knowing my sons has plenty of wood to burn...
Very inspiring to read of your quick turnaround and praise of the Lord! Stay after Him! Also glad you're ahead on wood!
Always good to hear bad news turn into good news. Still that must have been a tough road you went down for awhile. Always good to be back doing the things we like.
I'm very happy to hear this good news from you Nordic Splitter , I'm looking forward to some pics of those 55 face cords. They sound mighty impressive. It's good to have you back!
Newbie here Mr. Nordic Splitter but pleased to get to know the hoarders who make it back!Congrats on your fit bill of health and hope you keep us in the loop, keep up the rest.
Well I like reason #3894!!! Congratulations to you Nordic! That's making the Devil run the other way as He should. As for the wood, yes indeed, this is one of the number 1 reasons for the 3 year plan.
Great news for you! Congratulations on a great great recovery! Glad the doctors are baffled and very happy to hear your news. Best wishes for continued success!
