    Anyway, gave money to some young blonde working along the side of a busy street today and my bride didn't even get mad!

    Weird I know. We're not in a drought and the hills are green. Friend of mine a few miles away has had them in his yard also. He thought the timing was off, too.

    We got 2" of rain between when I got home from work (6 PM) and when I went to bed (10 pm). Most of it in 2-3 short bursts. not time for it to soak into the ground so I'm sure some of my front yard is washed out where I had some hardscape work done. Will have more of those types of storms tonight so will have to get out there today and lay down some rocks/pea gravel to slow down the run off.
