Michigan cheapest place in the country for a case of beer.

I hear ya on that one Man had to be a slow news day , maybe it was Fake News Chit did I really just say that

 

Here in oregon they raised the can and bottle refund to 10 cents. There are no beer cans littering the ditches. The price of beer is somewhat high in the small towns.

 

Over in Western MI the micro brews are inflating prices. You can still get 30 Busch Heavys for 11.99 some days!!!

 

Maybe you shoulda got more than a couplefew days worth

 

I think Wisconsin has that title hotly contested. It depends where you go around here. For example,in Madison it's more expensive, but out in the boonies, it's cheap.

Cheapest I have seen 30 packs of Blue Smoothies here is 16.99...Of course I don't buy beer very often!!

 

Used to pick up a case of beer for just over $3! Back in the day....

Cheapest I remember in the college days was $6.99 for a case of Meister Brau. With bottle deposit and tax you were out the door just under $10. Of course, we always had a case or more of empties to take back. If money was tight we'd just scrounge around the campus for empties. If you got lucky and scrounged enough cans, the beer was free and you might even get a package of hot dogs or ramen noodles too.

Meister brau uugggh yuck, nastiest cheap f&^^%ing beer i can ever remember drinking. My favorite cheap beer was lucky lager!

 

If you go to costco, Kirkland has a brand. Its called "beer".

 

I can just imagine their ad campaign.

You can get a Busch 30 pk here on sale for $13.99 on sale pretty regularly. Michelob Ultra 30 rack on sale for $ 17.99. And, we put our state liquor stores on all the major highways to sell to tourists. NH is the cheapest by far in New England area for liquor. Cheers!
