Jon, you are one great class act!!!! When you volunteered to help out on this it really did not surprise me at all, just because you are what you are and I am proud to have met you more than once. I've always looked forward to our visits and hope we have many more. Thank you.
Thanks for the pictures bogieb. I recognized Jon right off even with his hat on. lol Don't feel too bad about not getting more pictures. I seem to have the same problem at times; always wishing I'd got pictures or at least had got more. Happy you got that mess cleaned up.
Thank you Dennis. I think this turned out to be a pay it forward without it meaning to be. I was glad to help out, and would for any member in the area. When I got the free chipper a few weeks back, the owner would not accept any money. I told her I would pay her act of kindness forward. So I think this turned out to be it without even thinking about it. Bogieb offered to buy lunch yesterday, but with the late start to the day, I to decline as I had family commitments. That thought was much appreciated though.
It was great traveling up a bit into NH. Beautiful as always, and the highways are excellent to travel. Well Seasoned, we'll have to meet up for a hike this year.
What? It's all done????? Guess I'll turn the green truck around and drop off Eric VW and then schlot at their homes and then go home and try to get some sleep now. Glad you got it taken care of and good on you fishingpol ! (Maybe shouldn't have stayed at scavenger as long as I did.....)
Wow, I have been so busy for the last couple of weeks that I haven't even checked in. Today is my first log in quite a while, I would have certainly made the time to get over there and help out. Glad to see fishingpol saved the day! Thanks Jon for picking up the slack for us Granite Staters who missed the call for help.
I went full stealth mode crossing the state line. I tried to blend in with the scenery. Lousy gas mileage though.
Kidding aside, this driver really got pulled over in NH last week. Not sure what state they were from. Wouldn't be surprised if it was one of ours.
No, actually we own this guy, I believe he going from Belmont to Londonderry or something like that. 57 years old at that , old enough to know better. He used rope and electrical cords to tie this mess on according to the NH State Police who pulled him over and ordered the car towed. Motorists dialed 911 to report stuff falling in the road as he went along. I think he watched too many Beverly Hillbillies reruns.
I saw that report. If he was a member here, it would have been stacked high with cord wood. Funny picture, nonetheless Sent from my SM-T280 using Tapatalk
Looks like a dead head with the "steal your face" sticker in the back window -probably everything he owns
