    Pull it out? Seriously? I've tried that and the roots go forever. Any little piece just regenerates in a few weeks. Finally sprayed, and sprayed, and sprayed, then covered that area up with plastic (repurposed pellet bags - LOL) and wood mulch to smother it out. Looks odd just to see the wood mulch with no plants but by next spring I should be good in that area.

    Most likely not, unfortunately. I'm afraid the saws are going to be silent for awhile unless I deploy to help a friend. I may have to resort to gas station wood and an outdoor fire pit to scratch the itch.

    We need a big house to meet our needs, and unfortunately, buying/building 5BR on a large 1+ acre lot is asking a lot of our budget and doing so without HOA restrictions and in a great school district makes it that much tougher. One property got real close but my better half was not real enthusiastic about the floor plan. So it looks like we'll be settling into something in a sub-division. Looking forward to the bigger home and amenities (pool, park for the kids) but not being able to fire a saw up for some driveway cookies is gonna be a bummer for sure.

    I have not been able to find anything that rivals my current garage/shop space. (28'x31, no columns, configured as a 2 car, extra deep/wide)

    Well me and my wife Kerry Farwood have been married for 29 years today! :thumbs: She just had to keep her last name, Farwood is some kind of royalty around here.:D I don't mean to brag, but I will ;) I have the world's greatest wife. I think God felt bad for me and gave me a gift. :yes: I'm not sure why she's with me, but we won't go there. :picard:

    It's been a crazy few days around here with all the funeral arrangements and people arrangements. I have to go back to work Monday, but Tuesday is my Dad's funeral, and I'll be off Wednesday as well.

    Gotta pick up my oldest brother at the airport today and he'll stay by us overnight.

    Well there's a very long feud between the Straw's and the Farwoods. It started over a bag of Porkrinds years ago. My pappy said he'd rather see me dead than to marry a Farwood. So he's gone! :rofl: :lol:
