There's a blast from the past. I've had those, plus a few others like Hurricane, Golden Anniversary, OE 800 and several more than I am glad to have forgotten.

Well so far so good with the latest BP med changes, the Doc lost the battle on the second control knob I didn't need the hassle with the cardiac changes due to the met heading over the 200 mg total for the day. So I got a very small calcium channel blocker dose added I'm not at 8 days in when steady state occurs but the half life makes it hold things much longer than the met even much longer than the once a day ER version of met. It sucks eating pills.

I had two uncles who didn't collect penny one from either Uncle fed or the state. One died before he could collect and the other the day after he stopped working. This bear, and his boss have pulled the triggers and can more than live on the retirement funds without dipping into the savings.

It's all just a bad memory. fishingpol came over early afternoon and had it cut up in a jiffy. Helped straighten out the fence sections too so the cats can enjoy the great outdoors again. 3 more trips to the dump (I made 3 trips this morning) and everything was all cleaned up.

Not all the wood I hauled in that run - it was full!

    Great guy that Fishingpol is!!!!

I don't remember who made the original suggestion to post over in the wood burning section - but thank you for helping to introduce a great FHC member to me . He's a really nice guy that helped me out of a jamb!

Well my MIL made it to 87 and she got far more than most. She had an annuity that paid out for far more than the 10 year certain term. You can both win and lose playing the guessing games artc.

That was EXACTLY my point. You could try waiting until full SS age, but never make it. :faint:
If you take it early, at least you'll get something, and if you live a long life, you'll be ahead of the game for the first 11 years.

Everybody's situation is a little different. In my case after spending 25 years in 2 different paper mills that ended up failing, I had no choice but to keep working and wait. I figure I have to work another year and a half at least. The best advice I can give everyone is to make an appointment with SSA and sit down 1 on 1 with them to discuss everything. I learned a few things that have helped me.

JT, FYI 65 isn't full retirement age and you would get dinged for drawing early at that age.
