I don't know how much of a gun nut your stepdad is but I wonder if he knows that Henry released a Big Boy Carbine with a 16in barrel and a Big Boy Steel with a 20 in barrel in the caliber. Such an awesome lever action. I have one on a watch list with my dealer and as soon as he can get his hands on one it's mine!

 

I got a couple new handguns recently. I was hoping to get to try the out last Saturday but that did not happen.

Sig Sauer P320 Tacops. The Tacops has a threaded barrel, raised night sights for use with a suppressor, and four 21 round magazines.

Apparently, the 320 is prone to discharge when dropped or on hard impact.

 

Thanks! My dad told me at lunch today that Sig had a recall then I looked and saw it on the P320. I'll have to send them an email and see what they say. Thanks again for telling me.

 

So I've got this s&w sv9e that my dad bought. It's a nice gun, but I need to put the lighter trigger spring kit into it. It sounds like a fairly simple fix.

So I see you have the 40 Cal version of the s&w 9ve that I have. Have you done any trigger mod? I like the one I have, but that trigger. Good thing the trigger mod for $20 fixes the only real issue with that gun.

 

Not yet, I just got it about a month ago. It does have a horrible trigger. what is the mod on it? For 20 bucks I will do it. This was shot at 15 yards and really slow paced. had to shoot three mags to get it this close.

The reviews on this gun were great. Minus the trigger. There's several reviews on this gun, and they all say the same thing. It's a great gun, and a cheap trigger spring and if you want the trigger kit, will fix literally the only thing that wasn't perfect on the gun.

It is not a very good picture but here is my Ported M&P shield with night sights in .45. It is pretty hard to find.
