    Great score Greg :woodsign::woodsign::woodsign:

    Guess it's gotta stay in the holding pen for a bit till it gets dumped on the new pad?

    Man, I need to score some more Silver Maple...love that stuff!
    My neighbor brought me a load of Cherry last weekend, said some guy he knows cut down a few trees and he told him he'd take all the wood...I guess there was a lot more than he thought and he said he had enough Cherry :confused: so he brought me the last load. :yes:
    He was grumblin about having to take a big ole Silver Maple too since he already told the guy he'd take it all...might hafta go see if he needs any more "help" :D :saw: :axe: :stacke:

    Nah, he 'bout the same height as me...iss all good! He's a great neighbor...he made custom duct work for my wood furnace install for me...I helped him CSS a ton of wood in repayment...couple years ago he was having a hard time scrounging up enough wood for his hoard, and I had wood coming out my ears since I was cutting down a long fencerow tree line at a nearby farm, so he came with me to the farm and I loaded 'im up.
    When he was here last Saturday he mentioned that his last two Ash trees are DOA and need to come down...said if I come over and help him drop them, and CSS the one, the other is mine! :yes:
    Enough of this outta me...back to Gregs sweet load of SM...

    Very Nice. That would be some good hard wood in my neck of the woods. Or in my neck of the open, grassy, high plains.

    Heck it's good stuff at my place too - better than shoulder if you ask me. The only thing I don't like about it is the amount of ashes it leaves in the stove.

    Nuthin' at all wrong with soft maple! Heck, a couple years it was all I could find and it got us through those next winters just fine.
