    Just thought this is a good point proover. This is a split from yesterday. It is from a standing dead elm tree. I cut a 24 inch section and left it outside elevated and exposed to sun last summer. Yesterday I chainsawed it in half and then took the maul to it. The split was not just damp feeling but it was all out wet. Split wood dries exponentially gooder! 20170620_190156.jpg
