    A few pictures from yesterday. One scary one was an old man not too far from us was in his barn and the barn came down. Fortunately, he was okay. Said sparks all over from the wires as he got out. Pieces of that barn and another one were scattered all over the place.

    All total yesterday we got 2.45" of rain so we won't be working the ground for a few days. We have some limbs to pick up. I hear a chain saw running across the road. Weather is clearing up nicely now and much less humid.

    Impressive is right. The anvil is just about to form there in pic 3 down. That explains the updrafts mostly storms roll like a train meeting warm air. Glad you're safe Savage. Now where's that damm farwood at? *clickclick*

    A neighbor just stopped in and told of some of the damage in the area. I guess trees downed all over. One on the church and another on a house not far from the church. Many, many more.

    Good news is that our power has been restored.

    Glad you and sweet Judy are ok, Sav. As I've said to you already, I'm amazed at how flat the terrain is in your area and I'm sure you see some doozies out there...

    Ha ha downed trees equals firewood! Let the hoarding and cutting begin! :stacke::woodsign::woodsign::stacke::stacke::saw::saw::saw::saw:
    I just hope that the downed trees didn't damage anyone's property. And I am glad everyone is ok!

    Most of the bad stuff goes south of us but not very far. Pete sometimes gets hit hard and we get nothing out of it. Same with those over by the Flint area as they get worse than we do.

    Keep hearing about more and more damage. Guess lots of folks had some bad stuff. As I said, we dodged a bullet here.

    Poor service. We used to have it pretty good from Consumer's Power until they sold all their equipment and now farms out the trimming around the lines. Since then we have had way too many times when power is out. I also have never been able to understand why they think it is cheaper to do all the trimming after a storm when they have to pay excessive wages rather than to take care of rotten trees and limbs before the storm hits.

    Glad youns are OK

    Another thought, glad it missed your place ;
    All the stacked wood could become thousands of missiles & start raining firewood for miles
