Found out why our power went out last night

    When we went to bed there were lots of thunderstorms to our west and some heavy rain. We need the rain but not heavy nor lightning. We got a sprinkle is all; not even enough to settle the dust or even make it look this morning like we'd got rain at all.

    But, our power went out during the night. We figured someone must have got a storm but I just got back from the neighbors and found this:

    Oh well, he wanted a new transformer and pole anyway. Now he wants to borrow my saw to cut it up. Not a problem for a neighbor as I'm in no shape to cut right now.

    I think the lady drinking the red bull could make quick work of that. I heard it gives you wings. Sorry for the loss of power though.

    That's some storm to take our a big one like that. More Farwood! On nother note hope you're on the mend and cutting in good time. Getting back in the saddle may seem overwhelming

    We had a serious storm last night and lightning struck very close. Took out my phone/Internet modem. Att guy said it took out a neighbor too. No trees down that I can see ftom the house.

    Looks like another night of O.T to me :cool:. We just planted a some new wood earlier tonight because of a lightening hit from this afternoons storms. The strike blew chunks of pole 30 yards in every direction, it was a good one!
