Hey bushpilot, how did I do?
    IMG_1420.JPG
Cutting up some of the oak and it handled it seriously well.

Good show. I opened this expecting to be disgusted by a low life thief, but was pleasantly surprised to see some Honorary Yankee ingenuity taking place. :)

Stolen? American Pride? Never! Borrowed or Bartered is the term. bushpilot did well to give us this idea since this is often what's found lying around in a back yard anyways. I would have posted this on his thread but I wanted to give folks like MikeyB an idea of how dang simple this is. And it really does make it easy.

Haha I should have given that some thought before I got the lumber! Strong oak branches or dimensional lumber that may rot faster?:picard::headbang::whistle:oh well. I think I was looking into keeping it secure and just a little higher off the ground. Truth is, it works like a charm, I should make another for the long branches. Would hate to get an unbalanced one in the face after a finished cut.:hair:

Sure beats sawing off the back of the truck. I'm reminded of that every time I see the saw cut into my bed !!! And you think hitting a rock dulls your chain.........

I meant that I expected to see that your sawbuck vanished over night or something. Like actually stolen. :)

It's a woodsman cordwood saw from DH welding iirc. Much safer and more productive than a chainsaw.
