    Just a reminder that the toxic Deadly Nightshade plants are out. Around here they don't have flowers or berries yet. I dug a few out of the front hedges this morning. Bad stuff if a pet gets into them.

    Night shade is very toxic. Hard to get rid of because of the roots. Use something to kill the roots if you really want to be rid of it.

    Yeah it was messed up, I probably saved a kid though.
    I took my kids there on the weekend to play, I was swinging on a swing and at the Pivot Point it wore through and broke on one side while I was swinging, I tried to hold on, chain wrapped around my little finger, hit the ground on my back, knocked the wind out of me.
    I only weigh 150 pounds
    Playground equipment is dangerous. :hair:
    It just so happened that a lady down the street from my mother was a playground teacher there, I got a hold of her and she said she would be sure that the equipment got inspected.

    Took Rita in for her first 3-year rabies and distemper shots plus check-up since I got her last July. I got her as an older cat from a rescue league and she is about 8 years old now. She got a clean bill of health except for some teeth need to be watched. The Rescue vet took 3 of her teeth out before they would adopt her out, so she doesn't have many teeth left to begin with.

    I was really surprised that she went into the carrier without any fuss - I picked her up and set her at the door and she walked right in - GOOD GIRL!

    Fuzzy seemed a bit irritated that I brought her back though :D
