It was the switch on my well pump. There is a fleet farm right on my way home from the race track, and I got the last genuine square D switch for under $15. 20 minutes after I got home, I already had it swapped out, and we had running water again..

I hope wildwest gets her pump going too.

A lot to catch up on this morning. Up early as campinspecter and the supervisors left to go get a load of wood. I am home doing laundry, a business report, an assignment for my course, ironing and hemming pants. I am sure I have forgotten something. Oh, right go for a walk on this gorgeous morning. We are in for some sunny days this week.

I noticed yesterday on our walk that the magnolia bush is now blooming. Lilacs are almost over and cherry blossoms are on the ground like snow. Everything is so lush with all the rain we have had. The deer fence we put up around the rose bushes is working. I have a rose blooming on the worst hit rose bush and 6 more coming on the other one. And my columbines are in full flower.

Was there a thread on the other PA GTG at the end of May? I can't seem to find it.

Day 3 from the Superbike races at Road America today.

I've still got beer left, and I fixed the well pump switch at home, so all is right in the world.:)

Wow... 10 more gallons of beer made yesterday... Both are already starting to work. One is Goats Milk (my version of Dragons Milk) and the other is Wheel Hops In The Woods (my version of Boulevard's 80 acres, which is a Hoppy Wheat Beer, but I'm going to Oak it).... Need to get two more made next weekend then I'll be set for a while.... :emb:

I covered some wood by the outside fireplace with the intent of burning tomorrow in the rain, most of the wood is chitty pine.

Cleaning the garage currently. 3 giant Trash cans are half full already. I've been hoarding parts and various junk for too long. Today, it all goes. Not even bothering with scrapping it out.

If the rain holds off later, I'm gonna spray paint my old salt spreader hopper camo and transform it to a giant deer feeder.

Wow, that is out in the country. I live in the woods on the end of a dead end road, yet two towns are within 3 miles from here in either direction. As I get older, I am so glad not to have to travel very far to get to my shopping or health care.

Got up early to find our lot pins and set an offset line because of our trees, so we can set posts for the new section of fence.

We're reclaiming some land where the ash and elm were.

Had to hustle to make it to church on time this morning (well almost on time anyway :) ). I almost didn't go as I was right in the middle of the fence project but oddly I really felt I needed to go.

After the service I called out to one of members about how he was doing, as he walked towards his house. Even though it's a small church I really dont talk much to him as we didnt see eye to eye on a few things. But I know he is going through a divorce.

He looked at me and said he was trying to keep the small house so his daughter would have the same house to stay in, but when he tried to refinance it they were telling him he needed flood insurance which he could not afford.

I told him we had success with his two neighbors getting them out of the floodplain after working with the DNR on some elevation revisions.

He then asked how much it would cost. I answered "...don't worry about it, it's on me" he choked up and his eyes started to leak a bit. He then told me how bad things were for them financially and he wouldnt have been able to hire us.

I told him I remembered the days of having absolutely nothing, zero, after my divorce. I figure everyone deserves a break every so often.

I find it bizarre that I had that nagging feeling to go, so much I stopped what I was doing ...and that I talked to someone generally don't talk to even as he was half a block away from me.

Who is the best person to understand what troubles someone is going through other than someone who had been through them. As Eric VW said, it is not bizarre. It is the Lord's doing.
