It was 45 this morning so we had a fire with some junk pine and some nice smaller maple rounds. Before I left for the woods, I ended up throwing three nice maple rounds in just for added burn time.

We did put in enough wood for about three days of having two fires per.

Going in the Liberty tonight will be more pine with some beech.

How much longer did you have to wait before making some sort of fancy cast iron thingy?
Looks like it was almost ready to turn liquid.

Ran the pellet stove for a little while this morning, and its running again now. Low 50s with on and off rain today, coming down fairly heavy at the moment.

It was 79 on Friday, 80 and humid yesterday, and 84 today expected. We are at the race track. So the only thing I'm burning through is cold beer. IMG_20170602_112128230.jpg

I think I have to tap out of this one for now. Weather has been great lately, and pretty much the only thing burning now, is propane in the BBQ! I mowed the lawn 2 days ago, and the temp was 32 C ( about 90 F) so we're soaking up the sun in Sask.

Yesterday evening, the temp dropped 10-15 in just under an hour (maybe?). Man, was that ever a nice relief.

Oh yeah, it rained after that!
