So being an IH man I shouldn't let it out that there's a "Greene machine" in the shed but it was gifted to me and will be a future restore project since she's plain wore out, but old stinky gas from last spring still and last having run last September it just goes to show the simplicity and toughness of old iron. By the way 1944 John Deere A hand start, hand clutch no battery needed!
The old A sounds good and started easy. I have one it's a 46 electric start. I still need to get those pictures for of mine while they are out.
Part of the reason I can't get rid of it is cause it's neat but has some sentimental value was given to me by a neighbor where I grew up
< Too bad this one is red...if it were green I can just imagine the ole JD "putt putt putt" sound to about the same frequency as the lil smiley dudes vibrations... JD A, WFO
I just love the looks of them, not to mention the sound! I'd love a 560, 806 and 1066 someday. No clue what I'd do with them aside from make a mess of the yard
Two questions.... What is the Deere that's missing it's nose tin? And what is the real faded Farmall between the two deeres? H or a Super H?
