If this keeps up the editors are going to have to implement some type of post rating system warning of adult content ahead.:D

Scotty Overkill was the one that gave me the name here at work. I was wiring an A/C cabinet on a locomotive while sitting on a bucket. When I went to break he asked what was I sitting on? I said a bucket why? :emb:And he replied because you have a grease ring on your rear. I didn't think to put a rag or something over the part of the bucket that I was sitting on because I was wearing bib overalls. :headbang:
 So now every once and a while he calls me "Bucket Azz" :rofl:  stupid me I'll never live that one down. I know I am not small but people think the real reason for the name is because of the size but it's not.

After playing some college ball, I graduated in December 2001, right after September 11. I swore into the United States Marine Corps but had an eye that wouldn't pass flight physical- so opted out and served as a police officer in Special Operations. It was great, getting to do bad things to bad people that deserved it.

Got approached with a life and career changing opportunity and a found it challenging, interesting and rewarding- working as a Trauma Rep in an Orthopedic Trauma company. We make things to fix bones, and I get to do a lot of teaching, see a lot of surgery, and help people improve their quality of life after a big injury. I enjoy it a great deal and get satisfaction from it.
When I grow up, I'm going to own a bar, one that plays a lot of old country and has some sawdust on the floor (and for our Aussie members from Down Under, I'll have some Slim Dusty "Waltzing Matilda" and "Beer with Duncan" on the jukebox for ya!). And the coolest part of the bar will be having a big-azz pallet burner out back for heat!!!

I went to engineering school one week after graduating high school and became a Power Plant Engineer, aka, a Steam Engineer. I run high pressure boilers and Steam Turbine Generators that make electricity. I've been doing that now for 41 years, it's all I've ever done, other then landscaping as a teenager. Oh yeah, I've been burning wood just as long.

well let's see.. I went to school for business, finance/international economics.. worked on wall street.. hated it and mentor 39 had heart attack on floor.. resigned.. got series 6 and 7 and CFP license.. my morals would not let me stay there.. short of it you convince people to give you there retirement charge them a % per quarter and large fund companies give kickbacks.. so average Joe gives you a hundred grand you charge him 4k a year every year to manage it and fund gives you 10g for selling him product... after inflation and expenses poor Joe lucky to break even!

so now I own rental properties.. and do select investments for Accredited investors (500k minimum) I avg 12% return give them 9.5% because government says for avg guy what I do is too risky (it's not but hard to tax.. easy to cheat) soo.. regular Joe's paying to get robbed and wealthy guy doubles his money every 8 years... for past 24 years...its so unfair but they wrote the rules.. I have to turn down new customers cause lack of good opportunities but it pays the bills takes very little time give me time for family kids and FHC..

caught my eye, own a small mfg. company that used to employ 45 making shoe parts1950's to 1990's. today we are small, small only 5 working in die cutting, fulfillment, assembly. one of the more interesting recent assembly projects are rubber gaskets for pneumatic pipe lifters. 50mm x 60mm x 50' made for a div. of Hunter Int'l. never know what you can do with old tech these days.

I've done things all the way from fast food to loading liquor trucks (by hand), pet grooming and sapphire grower (no, not gem stones). I've even been the Easter Bunny at a mall and an encyclopedia door-to-door sales representative. And, after taking a pay cut at one of my day jobs, I was a US Census taker during 2010.

Now, as I have done since about 2001 for various companies and for various purposes, my full time job is to stare at computers and paperwork all day. And for the last 1.5 years at night I've stared at trash cans and dirty toilets. I don't actually DO anything, I just stare at stuff :wacky:

Retired; almost a year ago to the day. It took a lot of planning, but managed to pull it off at age 42, so now it is time to enjoy my wife, watch my kids grow up and live the American dream. Railroading and building ships brought me here though.
