Thanks. A friend started a Go Fund Me type of account for us when I was first disabled, and people from all over the world were incredibly kind and charitable, a very humbling experience that kept us from completely going under. (Since I'm an occasional writer for English speaking Catholic websites and periodicals too we were blessed with unexpected international support.)

However, this time I think a Kickstarter campaign, using FHC swag and ideas as different levels of incentives, might be more appropriate. I'd have to seek Scotty Overkill 's permission and input first before I would consider it though.

When I was in the army back in the late 60's, we were told there were no dumb questions, just those that came close. LOL

I guess I can let it out of the bag of what I do also.

I do a lot of volunteer work with unwed mothers by helping them get their start.

Been a splicing tech going on 21 years. I maintain all the outside power plant, electronics and cable for a telcom.

When I first hired I was considered a "telephone" guy. For the last 10 years or so "internet" guy seems more fitting.

10 years this summer Hot stick line mechanic (lineman) qualified to 115,000 volts. Before that worked at a rental shop for 5 years fixing the stuff people broke. Spare time I fix old tractors, hobby farm, fix anything I get my hands on (or attempt it anyway) :D and even a little tree work and firewood to heat the house.

Lost track of all the odd jobs I've had especially in high school and college, somebody of the more memorable were running rats on a treadmill for NASA, running pigs on a treadmill for National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (atherosclerosis study), running horses on a really big treadmill for a lameness diagnostic prototype marketed worldwide. Currently I'm a small animal veterinarian with my primary focus in medicine, surgery, dentistry, and theriogenology.

Adult film industry. Maybe you've seen some of my work?

When I'm not doing that, I'm working at a small family owned supply company. No fancy title or fixed position.

I've had a few occupations over the years. Started off driving a tow truck for the family business, then became a mechanic, at which time I realized that I hated being the same place every day. I then became a field service technician for one of my vendors, ended up back in wreckers, which led to driving the real big heavy duty wreckers for a bit. After I got burnt out on that I went back into field service, fixing forklift batteries and chargers until issues with poor genetics made me realize that I needed to find a job that didnt involve physical labor. I'm now three years in as a salesman selling batteries.

    big tipper on amateur night?
