I'm really not sure, A couple guys suggested I get it ported, but I cant imagine it would be fast enough to be a race saw and not being able to find parts makes me timid.
I have heard that seals can be custom made, but I would rather not have to :)
They are smooth but in a different way than the Solo twin or Echo 610 are smooth, odd to describe unless you run them back to back.

Aawwwww hell yes; Pro Mac 700!!!! I had one for years and loved it. I see the green supplemental oiler on the left and the red decomp on the right. It was pretty heavy but a cutting beast. Those look mint. damm I loved that heavy loud wood cutting machine.
Edit: damm I'm drooling over that PM 700. If a man could find a cherry Mac bar for it ........
I was raised on Macs back when they made REAL saws. My first was my grandfather's Mac 10-10 that I later replaced with the PM 700.(stolen 15 years ago. ) I'm even nostalgic about the crappy air filters but hey, they were easy to clean. They were true American Iron.
    MORE PICTURES PLEASE.

The one with the Mac bar has still never been run ,never will while I own it . But, I was tempted a few times . The other one has been passed down through several owners ,and been a non runner for years . a neighbor brought it over to see what I could do for it . It had sat in a barn for years with gas and oil ,and was barely recognizeable because of all the crud on it .Turns out the guy didn't want it ,so a deal was struck . It was run so little that the rim sprocket shows no wear .
