Well, I'm kinda new at this tree removal stuff. The YouTube video I watched the night before didn't mention leaning one way or another. Wish you'd a been there to help me out Dave. Might not've had this problem.

40 years of designing and selling large scale integrated security systems, access control, video surveillance, perimeter intrusion detection, mostly for very secure military bases, special forces buildings and compounds, and other government facilities, retired 2 years ago.

I'm ones of those spoiled government employees you hear about, minus the big paychecks and cushy retirement plan.

I own a Custom Cabinet and Millwork Business (22 years), about another 3 years and i'm throwing in the towel and finding something else to do until retirement. The wear and tear on my body is becoming a issue.

Bodyman for 37 years. Can also fix pretty much anything in and around the house including mechanical stuff. Helped build a few houses for family members in my teens and early twenties.

I spent 26 years in the printing industry. 1st 4 as apprentice, rest as operator. 20 of those in the same shop, eventually running an 8 unit Man Rolland with coater and extended delivery. Last 6 @ a mom and pop owned local shop.

After "retiring" from that (wife became an RN), I started working for a small used motorcycle shop as the only mechanic. Having a lot of fun doing so.

Been doing IT work for last 19 years. Prior to that it was most all aspects of retail bicycling - fixing, building, selling, riding.

A wide variety of occupations but drawn together with a common interest. How cool is that?

I'm a custodian for a small vocational school. I love my job, most of the time I work 2nd shift by myself. There's another guy who works 1st shift and he's great to work with. We both like to keep our building and equipment in top notch condition, in the long run it's just easier that way.

Next week will mark 20 years as an insurance damage appraiser. Prior to that a bodyman and shop manager. That's away from home, at home my resume is a little more broad.....cook, maintenance man, mechanic, plumber, electrician, logger, landscaper, pool boy, pet groomer, etc. but my favorites are husband and small group bible study leader.

I fix airplanes for a company that contracts with the two biggest shippers in the world. I end up traveling all over the northeast US as needed, but mostly work at the Manchester, NH airport.
I'm also officially the caretaker for a church, but in reality I'm the pastor as well. I actually get paid to live here, and all of my utilities are coverd. We burn wood I scrounge to heat the parsonage and save the church money.
The people in the church are the most rewarding part of the whole thing.

The only help I would've been would be restricted to ground level! Like maybe, taking the pics?:salute:
