    Wind damage goods delivered by the city hired tree service. This is a dump truck load. We limbed much of it onsite before they craned it up and off THE HEADSTONES:bug:Hope I didn't wake anybody up.... Zoiks.

    Looks like black oak to me (a sub species of red oak). My experience is red oak has a smoother bark and less foul odor. I've been wrong before.

    Red oak can have rough bark also, depending on the species.

    I love it too. It reminds me of a horse barn with stalls full of wood chips and other stuff, lol. Some do not like the smell though. I pay a teenager to stack my wood and he thinks it stinks in a bad way. His father sides with me.
