    Work! Nasty word.
Time to do away with that! Actually, there are times I would like to get up and go to work, but then how would I ever have time to get to my medical appointments.

Got the tiller on the Li'l Red and went after the garden plot with gusto.

Tiller works great now too
Yesterday the weather was nice (cool and cloudy) so I went after some much needed repairs to the deck.

Several of the 12 foot cedar planks had rotted out on the ends and were in desperate need of replacement.

Replaced 6 planks and the south side is SAFE now.

Gotta replace all the planks on the East end this summer and gonna use plain pressure treated 2 x 6 instead of the cedar as it will last better and is far cheaper.

    Arrrrrrgh

    I hate deck work.:picard:

At least 2" of rain last night. My rain gauge was overflowing this morning and I had emptied it out about 10 last night (had 1/2 - 3/4" then). Dark, wet and dreary but at least the pellet stove is still keeping the house warm :fire:. And, the weather is supposed to move out this afternoon and we should get almost 2 full days without rain . Starting to feel like I'm back living in Seattle - except Seattle was always in the 60's and 70's
